This helmet type occures in several places in the Early Medieval. All of these finds could be linked to Western or Eastern Slavic communities. Differences between these finds are not too significant.
Location of the originals:
Gnezdovo: Russia, Smolensk region, Gnezdovo, Archeological complex of Gnezdovo
Bojná: Slovak Republic, Nitransky kraj, Tapolcanky, Bojná
Prague: Czech Republic, Stromovka Park – from here we have two helmets from this type
